平江古巷简介（普通话版）：平江路，南起干将东路，北越白塔东路,和东北街相接，古称“十泉里”，是一条沿河的小路，河名为平江河。平江路历史街区是大运河苏州段七个遗产点段之一，是苏州古城迄今保存最典型、最完整的历史文化保护区，堪称古城缩影。街区中古巷、老宅众多，名人汇集。千百年来，古巷、老宅和名人，构成了苏州的历史。平江连漕运，河街尽繁华。时至今日，对照南宋《平江图》及明末《苏州府城内水道总图》，平江古巷依然保持着“水陆并行，河街相邻”的格局。

Pingjiang Road

Pingjiang Road, historically known as Shiquan Li 十泉里, is an old street winding along the Pingjiang River. It starts from Ganjiang East Road in the south through Baita East Road to Dongbei Street in the north. And Pingjiang District (now known as a part of Gusu District), the district where the road lies, is one of the seven heritage sites along the Suzhou section of the Grand Canal. It is the most typical and well-preserved historical and cultural district in Suzhou, which can be seen as the epitome of the ancient city. Here in Pingjiang District one may take a walk through the old alleys and find stories and legends of celebrities throughout the history. For thousands of years, old alleys, aged houses and celebrities have constituted the history of Suzhou. And for thousands of years, Pingjiang District has served as a key water transport hub, leading to the prosperity of waterways and riverside streets. Today, comparing the Pingjiang Map of the Southern Song dynasty with the General Plan of Waterways in Suzhou of the late Ming dynasty, people can tell that Pingjiang Road still maintains its layout of 'rivers and streets being parallel to each other'.

平江古巷简介（苏州话版）： 平江路，南横头到干将东路，北面通到东北街，当中横里穿过白塔东路，古辰光叫过“十泉里”，是一条沿河葛小街，河葛名称就叫平江河。平江路历史街区是大运河苏州段七个遗产节点段之一，是苏州古城里厢保存最典型、规模最大葛历史街区，就像古城葛缩影。今朝葛平江路历史街区还是基本保持仔“水陆并行，河街相邻”葛双棋盘格局。还有“小桥流水、粉墙黛瓦”葛建筑风格。对照南宋葛《平江图》以及明朝末年葛《苏州府城内水道总图》，平江路一带朆有大葛变化。街区里厢还有丰富葛历史遗存搭人文景观，譬如，有世界文化遗产耦园、中国昆曲博物馆、苏州状元博物馆，还有弗少名人故居，城墙、河道、桥梁、会馆、寺观、古井、古树、牌坊，搿些省市级文物古迹有100多个的嘞。
